PMMA耐老化性能简述

高分子材料在日光、大气、受力和周围介质的作用下，出现发黄、变形、龟裂、机械强度下降等现象，称为老化。与其他塑料相比，PMMA的耐老化性是较好的。PMMA能透过达73.5%的紫外线光，具有优良的耐紫外线性和耐气候老化性，其试样经4年自然老化试验，只是其拉伸强度、透光率略有下降，色泽略有泛黄，重量稍有变化，其它物理性能几乎未改变，甚至冲击强度还略有提高。

PMMA允许小于2800nm波长的红外线通过。当遇到更长波长的红外光谱，只要小于25000nm大于2800nm，基本上可被阻挡。特殊的有色PMMA，可以让特定波长红外线透过，同时阻挡可见光，用于远程控制或热感应应用。
